Favorite speech
My favorite speech was the informative speech. My topic was on nutrition and it was usually something I like to talk and learn about. It’s also a really broad topic so I was able to find many books in the library compared to the others. When I went to the library for books on littering there were very few and hard to find and they were mostly on pollution and landfills. I think that the informative speech is easier than persuasive, just because it‘s research and deliver. I didn’t have to find ways to convince my audience to do anything besides tell them things.

I liked your speech on nutrition because it was something broad; I was glad that you got to bring it down to some specifics in your speech. The informative speech was not as fun for me because it was on a topic that was a bit difficult to understand with graphs and numbers. I took a great deal of time making sure that the audience would be able to understand it. The persuasive speech was actually my favorite because it was on a topic that many people have already attempted to prevent. I usually enjoy persuading people, so it doing this speech was almost like an everyday task for me. Good job on your speech Niko, I really enjoyed it :).
ReplyDeleteI also liked doing the informative speech. It seems the broader it was the more easy it was to find information. The researching I found a bit hard for mine, but I finding books was a good way to do research. Doing the informative speech there is less effort in trying to win the audience over but I think its all in the fun doing public speeches. Persuading and winning them over to want you want. I liked doing the persuasive speech. I think if we didn’t learn how to do that we wouldn’t learn how to convince a big crowd which is important when we go out into the work world. Verbal communication is really important to me and I look to improve in that area
